Seek Me First

There are those who seek healing
From physical pain,
And those who seek mercy
And forgiveness again.

There are those who seek wisdom
For problems today,
And those who seek answers
To show them the way.

There are those who seek peace
From the storms in their life,
And those who seek deliverance
From all kinds of strife.

And here I stand
With all that you seek.
I have it for all,
The bold and the meek.

But I want you to seek Me
And not just what I bring.
I want you to know Me.
Seek Me and not things.

As you seek to know Me first
And to hear my heart,
All else you need will flow,
But seeking Me is the start.
